"One of the great things I think I'm taking away from the course is how/what to teach those persons who are our next course authors to prepare them for distance education curriculum writing and presentation."
B. N., Tennessee

"Not only have I learned about the dynamics of online learning communities experientially, I have also had the opportunity to utilise reflection and evaluation to deepen my understanding."
J.W., New Zealand

"As a learner, I now have a much better "feel" for what my students will go through. I'll put that knowledge to good use. "
P.S., Ohio

"Being a participant has reminded me of something I once understood but had allowed myself to forget--the experience of being the learner in the online classroom. I had forgotten what it is like to be in such a learning situation where I don't know anyone and no one knows me apart from what is written in the forum. This has reinforced for me the importance of the learner-learner relationship and has challenged me to think about ways I might work toward strengthening that relationship in my own classroom."
K.C., Illinois
